Charlie Young, age 90 of Clinton passed away Sturday, April 17, 2010 at Methodist Medical Center. He was born November 15, 1919. He was a WWII Navy veteran and member of World Wide Church of God. He was the son of the late George & Mary Reed Young.
Preceded in death by wife, Edith K. Young; sons, Kenneth Charles, Young & Cas Buster Young; brothers, Jimie Young, Roy Young, Walter Young, Buster Young, William R. Young & Kyle Young; sister Ella Seiber.
He will be deeply missed & loved.
Survivors: Son, Raymond Young of Clinton, Tn. who was also his caregiver.
Daughters: ..Shirley Evelyn Deel & husband, Larry of Macomb, Michigan
Martha Joaquin & husband Joel of Grosse Ile, Michigan
Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Sisters: ...Georgia Hackworth & husband Ralph, Lenoir City, TN.
Bonnie Davis & husband Halmond of Knoxville, Tn.
Inez Lane of Clinton, Tn.
Brothers:....Bailey Young & wife Ascella of Clinton, TN.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 from 6-8PM at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home. Burial will be 12:00 noon on Wednesday, April 21st at Zion Chapel Cemetery, Louisville, Tennessee in Blount County. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of the arrangements.
