Charles "Keith" Stalnaker
October 30, 1951 – October 4, 2025
Charles "Keith" Stalnaker, 73, passed away October 4, 2025 at his home. He was born October 30, 1951 in Columbus, Ohio to Charles Dee and Sarah Emily (Dean) Stalnaker. Keith was a lifelong learner. He graduated from Pleasant View High School in 1969, Ohio State University with a degree in Welding Engineering in 1973, Ohio University with a master's in business administration in 1982, and the University of Tennessee with a PhD in Occupational Safety in 1998. Keith began his career at Gaseous Diffusion Plant in Piketon, Ohio and was supervisor of Environment, Safety and Health when he transferred to Y12 to join the Conduct of Operation Compliance Group in 1992. After his retirement in 2005, he joined the Paragon Company in Hillard, Ohio to become project manager of the DOL SEM Project. Keith was on the advisory board as well as an instructor at Columbia Southern University. He also had several articles published in Professional Safety Magazine.
Keith loved God, whom he served faithfully, his family, whom he worked hard to provide for, and football (THE Ohio State Buckeyes). Keith never met a stranger and would give you the shirt off his back.
Keith was a member of Covenant Life Church and is now rejoicing in the promise of 1 Corinthians 2:9. "What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived, the things God has prepared for those who love him."
Surviving are Beth, his wife of 52 years; son Eric and his beautiful wife Kristen, grandchildren Hunter and Adeline Stalnaker, whom he adored: son Joel and his beautiful wife Rebecca; brother Mike (Glenna) Stalnaker and two nieces Megan and Karianne Stalnaker.
Keith was predeceased by his parents and his in-laws, Ron and Vera Streitenberger.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday, October 9th at Holley Gamble Funeral Home. Keith's funeral service will follow in the chapel with Pastor Tony McAfee officiating.
