Mr. Charles "Bud" Alonzo Pratt passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 while working on his treasured garden. He was 76 years old.

Born to Alonzo Franklin and Dora Oglesby Pratt on November 15, "Bud" was preceded in death by his wife Lenore, and is survived by two sons Jason (m. Ayesha) and Randy (m. Tina), four grandchildren (Aryana, Gabriel, Madison and Mallory), siblings Olethea (d.), Albertha, Helen, Naomie, Charlene, Alene and Horace, and countless family and friends.

After 27 years of faithful service in the United States Marine Corps and the National Guard, "Bud" retired from Oak Ridge National Laboratories in 2006. A proud soldier, faithful husband, exemplary father, doting grandfather and loyal friend, "Bud" was most known for his unyielding sense of humor, compassion and largesse. He loved reading, hunting, fishing and gardening, and shared these passions with all the lives he touched.

Visitation will be on Saturday, June 18, 2016 from noon to 2 PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home at 621 S. Charles G. Seivers Blvd, Clinton, TN, with funeral and burial immediately following. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. www.holeygamble.com
