Charles L. Johnson, Sr., "Cadillac", of Clinton, passed away August 13, 2010.
He was born March 6, 1949. He was a member of Lake City Christian Fellowship Church
and he loved his Lord. Lee truly enjoyed making others laugh and was known for his many jokes and will be missed by many. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert and Luada Johnson; brother, William Johnson; sisters, Peggy Hall and Kathy Bennett. He is survived by his son, Charles L. Johnson, Jr.; daughter, Christine Cameron and husband, Joe; sisters, Monta K. Montgomery and husband, Donnie, Sandra Corey and husband Chester, Barbara Foust and husband, Garland, and Betty Soule; three grandchildren and one great grand-daughter. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 15, 2010 from 5-8pm at Lake City Christian Fellowship Church with the funeral service to follow at 8:00pm. Pastors Justin Phillips and Danny Ray Phillips will be officiating. Graveside service will be Monday, August 16, 2010 at 11:30am at Anderson Memorial Gardens in Clinton. Family request that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City for the service of Mr. Johnson. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home of Lake City is in charge of all arrangements.
