Charles "Ed" Cox, born May 24, 1949, to Charles Elmore and Georgia Hill Cox, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025. He was a proud alumnus of Norris High School. His academic journey later led him to attend the University of Tennessee, where he pursued higher education.

Ed was a member of Hinds Creek Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by his mother and father, Charles Elmore and Georgia Cox, and his brother, Daniel E. Cox.

He is survived by a loving family, including his nephew Matthew and his wife Jackie Cox, his sister-in-law, Cathy Cox, his nieces, Lainey Cox, Daniella "Dani" Cox, and Charleigh Saige Cox

Ed's family also extends to Denise and her husband Gerald Satterfield, along with their daughters, Gracie and Cate Satterfield, Amy and her husband Jim Fox, along with their children Dalton and Ryle Sams.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 17, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, with a funeral service to follow. Interment will be private and held at a later date.
