Cecil E. Harmening, age 93 of Clinton, passed away January 3, 2012. He was a long time member of South Clinton Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of the Clinton Masonic Lodge, 376. Cecil enjoyed farming and sports. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents, William and Nora Harmening; daughter, Quindal Miller; brother, Joe Harmening; sisters, Septa Henley, Elizabeth Curry, Martha Gene, and Loueva Gregory.

The family will receive friends Saturday, January 7th from 5-7PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service will follow with Rev. Roger Pugh officiating. Graveside service will be Sunday, January 8th at 2:00PM at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens in Claxton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to South Clinton Baptist Church.
