Cecil R. Elliott of Andersonville passed away November 24, 2011 at the age of 72. He was a long time member and deacon of New Lone Mountain Baptist Church. He retired from the City of Clinton. He was preceded in death by parents, Willard and Lorine Elliott of Clinton, TN. He is survived by wife of 53 years, Mary E. (Irwin) Elliott; sons, Timothy and wife Beth Anne Elliott, Jimmy and wife Angela Elliott, all of Andersonville; grandchildren, Jessica McMillan, Logan and Laicee Elliott, Brooke and Brandon Elliott; three great grandchildren; sisters, Shirley and husband Hubert Wilkerson, Edna and husband Kyle Rutherford, Sue and husband George White, all of Andersonville, Judy and husband James Hamock of Heiskell; brother, Jerry and wife Lucille Elliott of Clinton; many nieces, nephews and lots of friends.
The family will receive friends Saturday, November 26th, from 6-8PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City. Funeral service will be at 8PM with Rev. Lester Mullins and Rev. Mark Dison officiating. Graveside will be Sunday, November 27th at 1:00PM at Andersonville Cemetery. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
