Carolyn Rachel Scruggs "Suzie Boyer", age 75, passed away October 3, 2014 surrounded by family and friends at Parkwest Hospital. Born on October 28, 1938. Preceded in death by parents, Henry and Faye Boyer; brothers, Marvin "Snooky" and Jerry Boyer, brother-in-law, Frank Scruggs; sister-in-law, Alma Boyer.
She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Suzie attended Norris High School.
She is survived by:

Suzie was a kind hearted women who came from humble means and spent a lifetime helping those in need. Her passion was her family, friends, and sewing.
She will be dearly missed by all.

The family receive friends 5:00-7:00 pm, Sunday, October 5, 2014 at Holley Gamble Funeral Home with Funeral services following in the chapel with Dr. Darryl Taylor officiating. Friends and family will meet 11:00 am, Monday at Norris Memorial Garden for her graveside service.
