Foust, Carolyn Anderson - age 69 overcame innumerable odds and afflictions to provide for her family. Her faith, strength and loving soul were an inspiration to all who knew her. Her struggles ceased Thursday, March 13, 2014 when her Savior called her home. Carolyn worked for the Social Security Administration for 30 years. She was an avid reader and loved spending time with "her girls" in the Red Hats. She was a member of Island Home Baptist Church. Her mother, Mamie Loy Anderson, her father, Isaac Anderson, and her brother Bill Anderson were all waiting for her in Heaven. Her loss will be mourned by her son, Randy Foust, her daughter Christy Foust Stanley, her grandson Zachary Stanley, her sisters, Cleo Brooks, Kathy Anderson, Bernice Walker, Gladys Hatmaker, Lucille Anderson, Edna Tudor, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.
The family will receive friends Sunday, March 16th from 5-7 PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service will follow with Pastor Dennis Galloway and Pastor Verlin Langford officiating. Interment will be Monday, March 17th at 11:00 AM at Norris Memorial Gardens in Norris.
