Carol Etta Slusher, age 76, of Oak Ridge, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on July 17, 2023, at her home.

She was a mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.  Carol was a true craftsman; she enjoyed painting portraits, quilting, crocheting, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.  She was a devout Christian, and read her Bible every single day.

Carol retired from Kennedy Space Center where she worked with blueprints on the various space shuttle programs.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon, her parents, Jack and Nancy Mounts, and her precious son, Chad.

Carol is survived by her siblings, Anna Martha Mayo, Jack Mounts, Patty Phillips, and Steve (Bobbi) Mounts; many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A private burial will be held at a later time in Jacksboro, TN.
