Carol Mathews, of Knoxville, went home to be with the Lord, on September 21, 2013. Preceded in death by father, William J. Collins; and mother, Merle Collins.

Survived by husband, Richard Mathews; father of children, Roy Wade, Sr.; son, Roy Wade, Jr.; daughters, Teresa Henry and fiancé, Tim Coffey, Sherry Davis and husband, Tim, and Ashley Mathews; grandchildren, Aaron Henry, Roy Wade, III, Rachael and Isaiah Coffey; great grandchildren, Bryson Henry and Zayne Nicely.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held 1:00 pm, Monday, September 30, 2013 at Holley Gamble Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Wooley and David Comer to officiate. Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements. holleygamblefh.com
