Carol W Jones, 81, of Farragut, TN, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 7, 2024 surrounded by family.  Prior to moving to Farragut in 2023, Carol and her husband, Jack G Jones, made Clinton, TN their home for 47 years where they raised their children.  She was a member of First Baptist Church – Clinton, where she was an active member while her health permitted.  She was born in Henderson, KY to Leland and Christine Williams.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jack G Jones, her daughter Chris (Don) Doar, her son Jack G Jones, and grandson Tyler Doar.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Leland Gregory Williams and Christine Davis Williams of Henderson, KY.

The family would like to thank Smoky Mountain Hospice for their abundance of care they provided during this difficult time.

The family will receive friends 4:30pm to 6:00pm, Friday, December 13, 2024 at Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton, TN with funeral service to follow visitation.  The graveside will be 11:00am, Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Clinton.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Smoky Mountain Hospice at 9119 Executive Park Drive, Knoxville, TN  37923 or Alzheimer's Tennessee, Inc. at 5801 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919 in Carol W Jones's memory.  Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements. holleygamble.com
