Carol Adkins, 82, passed away on January 08, 2025, at her home surrounded by family.  She was born on October 14, 1942, in Oliver Springs, Tennessee to Borden and Margaret Clowers, who predeceased her.  She is survived by husband Billy Adkins, who she was married to for over sixty years.

Carol is also survived by daughters, Cindy Bruce and husband David, Suzanne Wilson and husband Stanley and son Greg Adkins and wife Tara as well as five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Carol devoted her life to being a Godly wife and mother.  Her legacy will be remembered by her devotion to family and the love she showed others. She was an active and long-time member of Second Baptist Church of Clinton.

The family would like to give special appreciation to the home health caregiver, Michelle Miner, and the Covenant Health Hospice Nurses who showed so much love and support for not only Carol, but the entire family.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 from 6:00 - 8:00p.m. at Holley Gamble Funeral Home, 621 S. Charles Seivers Blvd, in Clinton. The funeral service will follow in the chapel with Rev. Dr. Michael Thompson and Rev. Gary Swaggerty officiating. There will be a private graveside service for family on Wednesday, January 15, 2024 at Anderson Memorial Gardens with Rev. Dr. Michael Thompson officiating. www.holleygamble.com
