Carl "Junior" Mullins, 68, of Oak Ridge went home to be with his Lord and Savior on March 7, 2013.

The son of Carl Sr. and Mary Bryant Mullins, Junior was born January 7, 1945, in Baden, Virginia. He lived with family throughout his life and never met a stranger. He loved attending Central Baptist Church in Oak Ridge and greeting everyone with hugs and handshakes. He was quick to give a witness to his faith in Jesus and was an inspiration to many.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Charlotte Scarsbrook, Mable Hammons and Irene Pratt; brothers, G.C. Mullins and Ben Mullins.

The family would like to acknowledge the loving care Junior received from the staff of Covenant Home Care Hospice, especially Diana, Eddie and Billie.

The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 pm, Friday, March 8, 2013 at Central Baptist Church with funeral services following with the Pastor Glenn Ellis officiating. Friends and family will meet at 10:15 am Saturday at Holley Gamble Funeral Home and go in procession to Grandview Memorial Garden for an 11:00 am graveside service.
