Carl Edward "Eddie" Lawson, age 53, of Clinton, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025. Carl was born June 21, 1972, in Knoxville, TN, to the late Larry D. Lawson of Knoxville and Margaret E. Lawson of Clinton. Eddie was a small engine mechanic who loved to restore vintage lawnmowers. Many referred to him as "Mower Man" because he was constantly mowing or doing yard work.  Eddie graduated from Clinton High School in 1991 and will be remembered for his love of helping others within the community.

Eddie is survived by his brother, Larry D. Lawson, Jr. of Vonore; stepmother, Judy A. Lawson of Knoxville; Stepbrothers, Brian Davis and Chris Davis of Knoxville; cousins, Leigh Ann, Judy K., Edwina, Becky, and Brenda; and a host of extended family, whom he loved and cherished.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Holley Gamble Funeral Home.  His Celebration of Life service will follow in the chapel. Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements.  Holleygamble.com
