Calvia Scruggs Brantley, age 77 of Clinton, passed away June 2, 2013 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. She was a long time member of St. Marks United Methodist Church. Calvia enjoyed sewing, cross stitching, gardening and the company of her cats. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, Calvin N. and Marion Fowler Scruggs; Son, Randall Brantley; Brother, Craig Scruggs; Brother-in-law, Gene Price.

Son: Calvin Brantley and wife Jhonna
Daughters: Loura Thompson
Jerrianne Tschopp and husband Matt
Daughter-in-law: Trish Brantley
Sister: Libby Price

Grandchildren: Nicole Brantley-Brewer, Tamara McGhee, Jessica Howell, Jennifer Jarvis, Brianna Brantley, Jacob, Kyle, Kim and Hailey Tschopp, Ruthie and William Brown

Great grandchildren: Jackson & Ryley Brewer, Hailey, Audrey & Keegan McGhee, Keelyn Jarvis

Special Cousins: Shannon Biggs, Bobbie Wray, Candy McGlasson

Special Friends: Aaron & Jill Barnes and daughter Dakota

Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Marks United Methodist Church, Tim and Jenni Jarvis Mission Fund.

The family will receive friends Thursday, June 6th, from 5-7pm at St. Marks United Methodist Church. Funeral Service will follow with Pastor Donald Swift and Pastor Leland T. Carden officiating. Graveside services will be Friday, June 7th at 10:00 a.m. at Anderson Memorial Gardens in Clinton. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. www.holley-gamblefh.com
