Russell "Bruce" Worthington, age 83 of Clinton passed away peacefully Friday, May 24, 2019 surrounded by his family.  Bruce was retired from Union Carbide and was of the Baptist faith.

Preceded in death by his wife, Helen L. Worthington; parents, Samuel and Effie Worthington and brothers, Earl, Dwight, Gene and Samuel Worthington; and sister, Jane "Martha" White.

Bruce is survived by his son, Jeffrey "Jeff" Worthington of Heiskell; daughter, Kimberly "Kim" Franklin of Clinton; grandchildren, Kari West and husband Tim, Joe Franklin and wife Kerry and Zachery McSween and wife Jessie; great grandchildren, Daniel Bowling, Emma Bowling and August McSween; sister, Libby Perryman of Indiana; along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Monday, May 27, 2019 from 5-7 PM in the Clinton Chapel of Holley-Gamble Funeral Home.  A service will follow at 7 PM with Rev. Allen Giles officiating.  Family and friends will meet Tuesday morning at 10:45 AM at Oak Ridge Memorial Park for a graveside service at 11 AM.
