Brenda Sue Riggs, age 74, of Oak Ridge, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026, at Methodist Medical Center.

Born on October 17, 1951, in Alabama, Brenda was the beloved daughter of the late Otis and Betty Cowart.

Brenda dedicated many years of her career to Elo Graphics in Oak Ridge. She later worked as a sales representative at Techmer PM in Clinton and, most recently, served as a cashier at Walmart in Oak Ridge.

Throughout her life, Brenda enjoyed bowling in her early years, baking, cooking, and visiting casinos to play slot machines. She was also an avid Elvis fan.  Above all, Brenda deeply loved her family and treasured the time they spent together.

She is survived by her loving son, Rowdy Riggs of Oak Ridge; granddaughter, Alyssa Riggs of Oak Ridge; special friends, Karen and Betty; and a host of other close friends.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 pm, Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Holley Gamble Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Holley Gamble Funeral Home, P.O.
