Brenda Ellen Carter, age 71 of Clinton passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021 at the University of Tennessee Hospital.  Brenda was the manager of admissions at St. Mary's Hospital for many years and the office manager for Urology Consultants of Knoxville for many years also.  Brenda loved to work outside and more than anything loved spending time with her family and friends.

Brenda is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Ron "Bunny" Carter; children, Cristy McMillan & husband Ronnie, Angela Smith & husband Randy, and Corey Carter & wife Carla; grandchildren, Bailey, Zoe, Parker, & Griffin; mother, Betty Wilson; brother, Edward Wilson; sisters, Linda DeMarcus, Joanie Butler, Kimberly Byers, Pam Lucas, and Lori Lafollette; several special friends, nieces, and nephews whom she loved with all her heart!!!

Brenda is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Wilson and brother, Paul Wilson.

The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 pm, Friday, May 7, 2021 at Holley Gamble Funeral Home with a memorial service to follow in the chapel.  Her graveside will be 2:00 pm, Saturday at Woodhaven Memorial Garden.  Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements.  holleygamble.com
