Boyd Matthew Lafferty

Boyd Matthew Lafferty age 53, from Clinton, TN residing in Columbia, SC, passed away due to complications of cirrhosis of the liver on Tuesday, February 25,2025. He was an amazing husband and father. He was a lifelong baseball fanatic who loved the Braves and the Tennessee Vols. He spent many years coaching sports and developing lifelong friendships. He was a good man with the biggest heart that any one individual could possess. He never met a stranger, and his presence will be missed dearly by anyone who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ellis Lafferty and son, Austin Lafferty He is survived by his wife Sandra Lafferty; son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter Blake & Sara (Addison) Lafferty; step-sons, Jacob Lynch, Nicholas Lynch, Christopher Lynch; mother, Ruthie Lafferty; half-sister, Tammy (Mike) Crowe; Additionally, survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and those he chose to call family, by the trust and love that had evolved within his closest circle of friends.
