Bobby Eugene Smith, born September 12, 1951, passed away on December 4, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.  He was preceded in death by his father, Robert C Smith; mother, Bessie Wojtowicz; sister, Barbara Patterson; and nephew Dana Woodward.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Cleona Smith; his daughters, Angela Gray and Regina Eshleman; and his son-in-law, Josh Gray and former son-in-law Jeremy Eshleman. Bobby was a proud grandfather to Savannah Gray, Jared Eshleman, Owen Gray, and Abigail Eshleman. He is also remembered by his former wife, Diane Smith, the mother of his daughters.

Bobby adored his wife and cherished his girls and grandkids with a fierce unwavering devotion. They were his pride, his joy and the reason he considered himself the "Luckiest Man Alive." His family was his world, and he made sure they felt it every single day.

Bobby loved old cars, good food, and good times. He especially loved visits from family and friends at his home which he considered "Heaven on Earth."

Bobby's humor and his stories left an impact on every soul he touched. He will be missed dearly by all who were lucky enough to share time, laughter, and love with him.

His legacy lives on in the family he adored and the countless moments he made brighter simply by being there. May we carry his spirit with us; big-hearted, grateful, and living life to the fullest, as we remember the "Luckiest Man Alive."

The family will receive friends for a celebration of life on Friday, December 12, 2025 from 4-6 pm at Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Kidney Foundation of East Tennessee; 4450 Walker Blvd, Knoxville, TN 37917.
