Barbara "Bobbi" Lynne Kelley, age 68 of Lake City, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 28, 2011 after a brief stay at Tennova Residential Hospice. Bobbi was born May 14, 1943 in Salinas, CA. She is preceded in death by her parents Carl E. and Jessie M. Chastain Miller; brother, James A. Miller and son, James Kelley.
Bobbi was passionate about making a difference in the lives of Military Veterans in nursing homes and area needy children. As a former president of the Lake City, Ladies Auxiliary for Veterans of Foreign Wars, she coordinated fund raising activities for the annual Veterans Day events and Children's Christmas Party.
Bobbi will be remembered as a selfless, loving, and fiercely devoted wife, mother and nanny, as she was the mortar that held together her greatest legacy...her family. She touched the lives of many people with her humor, smile and generosity. She kept her trademark to the end.. her sense of humor.

Daughter.............Tina Atkins and husband Lewis of Knoxville
Grandchildren.......Alanna , Cassandra, Mackenzie, Kelli, Jimmy, Michael and Mitchell
Several cousins, nieces, nephews and special friends.
The family will receive friends at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City on Thursday, December 1, 2011 from 6 to 8 PM with the Memorial service to follow at 8:00Pm with Chaplain Phil Groos officiating.
