Billy W. Matchett, age 55 went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 30, 2010. He passed peacefully at home in Mt. Clemems, Michigan. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army,

He was preceded in death by parents, Billy P. and Lola L. Matchett.

He is survived by his four children: daughter, Susan M. Kurtz and husband Dale of Manheim, PA.
Son, Billy A. Matchett and wife Billie L. of Clinton, TN.
Son, Benjamin P. Matchett of Clinton, Tn. and son, Timothy B. Matchett of Clinton, Tn. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Also special nieces, Addie L. Buck of Clinton, Tn. and Rebecca Ledford of Knoxville, Tn. and brother, Franklin Matchett of Tennessee, and sister, Margaret Ann Clark of Oak Ridge, and many specials aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 5, 2010 from 6-8p.m. at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 8:00p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Austin Lowe officiating.

Interment will be Sunday, June 6th at 2:00p.m. at the Ranger Grove Cemetery in Caryville with full military honors by the Campbell Co. Honor Guard. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of the arrangements.
