Billy Joe Dockery, age 71 of Oak Ridge, passed away suddenly Tuesday, May 29, 2012. Bill was a gentle and loving husband, father and friend. His hobbies included fishing and watching UT Football. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all.
Preceded in death by parents, Arthur and Grace Dockery; brothers, Toby and Allen Dockery; sisters, Katherine House and Madge McDonald.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda "Sue" Dockery of Oak Ridge; daughters, Tammy O'Dell of Tellico Plains, Cassie (Ronnie) West of Clinton; sons, Glen (Michelle) Dockery of Karns, Mark "Tank" (Renee) Scarbrough of Clinton, and Brian Scarbrough of Oak Ridge; 16 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; one sister, Ethel Poteet of GA; several brothers and sisters in-law; several nieces and nephews and friends.
