Billie Jean Massengill Lane, age 86, of Knoxville, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. She was born on December 16, 1937, in Morgan County, TN to the late Jessie and Rosa Harness Massengill. Billie Jean was a mother to all in need, she would care and provide for anyone that needed love and care regardless of the situation.  She retired from Cherokee County Club after many years. In addition to her parents, Billie Jean is preceded in death by, husband Boyd Lane; sons Chuck Burger and Tony Lane; brothers Jimmy Ray, Vernon, Archie and Jessie (Buddy) Massengill; sisters Shirley Graham, Faye Newman and Phyllis Kagley.

The family will receive friends at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, from 5:00-7:00PM with the funeral service to follow at 7:00PM with Pastor Gary Massengill officiating.
