Billie W. Farmer, age 87 of Clinton, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 2, 2026.

For decades, Billie's heart belonged to Second Baptist Church, where she poured her love into caring for countless children in the church nursery. But her deepest devotion was always to her Lord and Savior. Beyond the church walls, Billie celebrated life to the fullest! Whether she was out on the water enjoying a boat ride, curled up with a good book, feeling the sand beneath her feet at the beach, or—most importantly—surrounded by her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Billie knew how to embrace life's greatest gifts. Those who knew her remember her constant, radiant smile and the genuine love she extended to everyone around her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy R. Farmer; parents, James and Lucille Wright; sister, Wilma Sherwood.

Billie will be greatly missed by her sons, Chris Farmer, Randy Farmer (wife Kim), and Alan Farmer; brothers, Kyle Wright and Kenny Wright (wife Vicki); grandchildren, Derrick Farmer, Amber Moore, and Kaitlin Young; great-grandchildren, Baylen Young, Bowen Young, Ava Amelia Roach, Darren Keathley, Katie McMilian, and Cory McGuffy.

Receiving of Friends will be from 5-7 pm on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at Second Baptist Church of Clinton with funeral service following officiated by Bro. Michael Thompson. She will be laid to rest alongside her husband at Grandview Memorial Garden on Friday, July 10, 2026 at 11:00 am.
