Betty Jo Raines, age 78 of Caryville passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2013 at the Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville. Betty was born on June 22, 1934 in Anderson County, Tennessee to the late Gid and Mattie Golden. She loved cooking, shopping and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her brother, Earl Golden and sisters, Ineze Golden Foust and Wanda Lou Golden.

The family will receive friends at the Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 from 6-8PM with the funeral service to follow at 8:00PM with the Rev. David Walker and Rev. Jeff Hawkins officiating. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at 10:15AM and go in funeral procession to the Ridgeview Cemetery for a 11:00AM interment.
