Betty Katherine White Blodgett Herbster

Born July 20, 1922 in Kendallville, Indiana. Passed away January 8, 2014 in Andersonville, TN.

Preceded in death by her parents, William Russell White and Alta Brown White and infant brother Russell Dale, her husbands, Wilbur D. Blodgett and Donald D. Herbster.

Survived by son, William R. Blodgett and wife Nancy of Lake City, TN; daughters, Mary A. Woodcock and husband Ned Shultz of Fort Wayne, IN; Devonna Sumner and husband Bobby of White Springs, FL; Judith L. Meredith of Andersonville, TN; sons, Charles Herbster of Powell, TN; Richard A. Herbster and wife, Andrea of Register, GA; David Herbster and wife Janice of McDonough, GA. Also 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; her sister, Joan Hagerty of Bluffton, SC; many nieces and nephews. Special friends, Mary E. Herbster and Johnny Pridemore.

Betty enjoyed serving the Lord at Edgemoor Baptist Church. She also enjoyed crocheting and corresponding with family friends.

Receiving of friends will be at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton, TN on Saturday, January 11, 2014 from 3-5PM. Funeral service will follow with Pastor Rick Miller officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Edgemoor Baptist Church Building Fund. Interment will be in IOOF Cemetery in New Haven, IN.
