Betty Jean Brooks, age 81 of Clinton, went to be with her Heavenly Father on April 6, 2013. She was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. Betty enjoyed watching the Lady Vols basketball but above all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Cora Gullett Brummett; sister, Jenny Bumgardner; brother, Sam Brummett; grandson, Lucas Brooks.

Daughters: Lee Martin and husband Don
Charlene Ratcliffe and husband Terry

Sister: Ann Cartwright

7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren
Several nieces and nephews

The family will receive friends Monday, April 8th from 6-7:30PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service will follow with Rev. Gary Bumgardner and Rev. Donnie Disney officiating.
