Bertie E. Roberts, age 94 of Briceville, passed away on Friday, July 7, 2017 at her residence. She was born on October 21, 1922 to the late John and Ellen McGhee Daniels in Norton, VA. She was a devoted member of the Briceville Church of God for 74 years, 25 of which, she served as Secretary and Treasurer. Her church, husband and children were her life. She enjoyed quilting and talking about the Lord and will be dearly missed.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband of 63 years, William Earl Roberts, 4 sisters, 3 brothers, and daughters, Nancy Lee Hatmaker and Penny Laura Wilson.

The family will receive friends at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Rocky Top on Saturday, July 8, 2017 from 5-7pm with the funeral service to follow at 7pm with the Rev. Donnie Douglas and Rev. Devin Barnette officiating. Family and friends wishing to attend the graveside service will meet at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Rocky Top on Monday, July 10, 2017 at 10:30am and will go in funeral procession to the Woodhaven Memorial Gardens for a 11am interment.
