Bennie Marvin Ransom, Sr, Norris, Tennessee resident of 18 years, passed away Friday, April 29, 2016 at age 87.. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Irene Pearson Ransom, his four children, Stephanie DiGuiseppi of Durham, NC, Lisa Reynolds of Forsyth, GA, Susan Mobley of Norris, TN, and Bennie Ransom, Jr. (Marty) formerly of Gainesville, GA, and now Norris, 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He died peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family. Bennie was born and raised in Unadilla, Georgia and served in the United States Army. He lived in Jacksonville, FL, as well as Savannah and Macon, GA before retiring to Norris, TN...A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 14 at 4:00pm at the Norris Religious Fellowship Church.
