Bea McBee Hatmaker, age 64 of Knoxville (Karns Community), beloved mother and grandmother passed away July 24, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was a member of Sharon Baptist Church. She had a great sense of humor and was loved by all who knew her. She retired from Y-12 BWXT in 2004 after 27 years of service.

Preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Anna Mae McBee; brother, Charles McBee; sister, Charlotte Lee.

Survived by: her children and grandchildren: daughter, Charlene Hill Aikens, husband Jeff: son, Anthony (Tony) McBee, wife Pat; grandchildren, Emilee and Caleb Stooksbury, Riley and Macy McBee; brothers and sisters: Betty Meredith, Mary Kelley, Henry McBee, and Mack McBee. Several nieces, nephews and many special friends.

The family would like to express their gratitude for the outstanding love and care given by Dr. Antony Charles, Dr. Victor Salters and the wonderful 8th Floor nursing staff at Ft. Sanders Regional.

The family will receive friends at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton on Thursday, July 26, 2012 from 6:00-8:00. Graveside services will be held at Lynch-Bethel Cemetery, Emory Road, Karns Community on July 27th at 1:00pm with Bro. Ronnie Clark officiating. Pallbearers will be Mike Fryar, Ricky Fryar, Glen Hill, Ivan Harness, Donnie Scruggs, Leon Rayfield and David Littleton.
