Barbara Ann Thompson Teno, age 84 of Clinton, went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, November 1, 2013. She fought a courageous fight against Alzheimer's disease. Barbara was surrounded by her loving husband, Doyle T. Teno, Jr., and their daughter, Becky (Phil) Gilbert of Kingston and son, Trippy (Karyn) Teno of Clinton. She was also surrounded by the most compassionate caregivers, Mary Shirey and Paula Smith. The family wants to thank them for their wonderful care they gave to Barbara.

Barbara is also survived by five loving grandchildren, William David, Leah Marie, Andrew Jacob, Samuel Ethan Teno and Chandler Wallace Gilbert. They were all precious to her. She is also survived by one brother, James E. Thompson and wife Tanya and sister in-law and brother in-law, Jane and Kenneth Magill. She is survived by several cousins and her Aunt Juanita Robbins of LaFollette, Tn. She also cherished the special friendship of Ethel Ward.

She was very fond of her special cat,"Kitty", that came to love her at the beginning of her illness.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William O. and Beatrice Green Thompson.

The family will receive friends Monday, November 4th from 12-2pm at First Baptist Church of Clinton. Funeral service will be at 2 o'clock with Rev. Stan Elliott and Rev. Terry Baker officiating.
