Barbara Lou Stooksbury, age 89 of Clinton, passed away peacefully in the company of family Friday, November 27, 2015. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Andersonville where she was the church organist until recent years. Barbara was a wonderful cook and she worked many years at the Norris High School and Norris Middle School as the cafeteria manager until her retirement.
She was a very loving and giving mother. She always had a smile on her face and a worry free heart due to her strong faith in the Lord. Her cup was always "half full" never "half empty". She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Preceded in death by her loving husband, Conley B. Stooksbury; infant son, Kent Edwin Stooksbury; parents, Shane Longmire and Pauline Longmire.

Grandchildren: Kristi Shelton and husband Phil, Brian Lee Martin, Allison Jones and husband Alex, and Sarah Beth DeLapp
Great grandchildren: Cody Ward, Jamie Summers and husband Dusty, Chloe and Jacy Martin, and Gavin Ward

The family will receive friends Monday, November 30th from 11-1 PM at First Baptist Church of Andersonville. Funeral service will follow with Pastor Steve Lakin officiating. Family and friends will then go in procession to Andersonville Cemetery for graveside service.
