Barbara Joan Rutherford, age 73, of Briceville, passed away on Tuesday May 1, 2012 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. Barbara was born on February 3, 1939 to the late Linnie and Mattie Sharp Craig in Briceville, TN. She was a member of the Gospel Light Church of God in Lake City where she was the clerk for 20 years. Barbara enjoyed sewing, quilting and gardening. Barbara was also a caregiver to many and will be dearly missed. In addition to her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by Husband, Otis Rutherford; Brothers, Rowne, Quinton and Colin Craig; Sister, Lila Towel.

The family will receive friends at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City on Thursday, May 3, 2012 from 6-8PM with the funeral service to follow at 8:00PM with the Rev. Glenn Day and Rev. Ronnie Arnold officiating. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home on Friday, May 4, 2012 at 10:30AM and go in funeral procession to the Circle Cemetery for an 11:00AM interment.
