Ava L. Anderson, age 77 of Clinton passed away January 11, 2012 at Summit View Healthcare in Lake City. She was of the Baptist faith. She retired from Kroger after 40 years of employment.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Pierce; grandson, SSgt Daniel Morris; great-grandson, Daniel Aiden Morris; parents, Samuel & Rossie Bean; sisters, Fay Bean, Alda Aulton, Helen Rogers & Reba Davis.

Linda Anderson & husband Don Chance of Pikesville, MD

Grandchildren: Cassidy Morris, Adam Morris, both of Clinton

Great-grandchild: Alexys Morris of Michigan

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 14, 2012 from 1-2-PM at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with funeral to follow at 2:00PM in the chapel with Chaplain Sherri Howse officiating.
