April Michelle Mayes, age 35 of Lake City, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 in Knox County, TN. April was born on October 23, 1975 in Detroit, MI to Daryl and Kathy Bland Phillips. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends especially her children. April was a loving mother and daughter. She will be dearly missed. April is preceded in death by her father, Daryl Phillips.

The family will receive friends at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City on Friday, October 7, 2011 from 6-8 PM with the funeral service to follow at 8:00PM with the Rev.
