Annie B. Phillips, age 86 of Briceville, passed away on Sunday, June 27, 2010 at the Summit View Health Care of Lake City. Annie was born on November 23, 1923 in Anderson County, Tennessee to the late Charlie and Belle Vowell Bailey. Annie was a member of the Laurel Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting and attending various flea markets and auctions. She also loved working outdoors.
In addition to her parents, Annie is preceded in death by her husband, Jonas Phillips; Daughter and Son in Law, Jimmy and Judy Long; Brothers, Diamond, Rowd, Carl, Ed and Henry Bailey; Sisters, Maggie Bailey and Mary Ault

The family will receive friends at the Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 from 6-8PM with the funeral service to follow at 8:00PM with the Rev. David Walker officiating. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 10:15AM and go in funeral procession to the Laurel Grove Baptist Church Cemetery for a 11:00AM graveside service.
