Anna (Anne) Mae (Maye) Johnson, age 94, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Summit View of Lake City. She was born November 27, 1919 in Briceville. She had worked in earlier years and retired from United Family Life Insurance Company as a data entry processor in Atlanta, GA. She enjoyed quilting for many years.

Preceded in death by her very dear friend, Ned Palmer; parents, Robert and Effie Taylor Johnson; sisters, Irene Hendren and Bonnie Taylor; half-sister, Ruby Slover; nephew, Larry P. Hendren.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 26th from 5-7 PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service will follow with Pastor John Scott Jones officiating.
