Anne Elliott Hill, age 83, of Clinton, passed away Friday, September 20, 2013 at Golden Living Nursing Home of Clinton.

She was born February 20, 1930 in Middleburg, KY, and had been married to Robert V Hill for over 50 years, who predeceased her in 2001.

She retired from Anderson County Schools in 1986, where she was a much loved Science teacher for over 25 years, first at Norwood Junior High School and then at Clinton Middle School. She was a member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church in Clinton. In her younger days she used to enjoy the company of her long time friends and colleagues, playing golf and cards, bowling, and travel, but her greatest joy in life was being a Nana to her five grandchildren.

She is survived by and will be missed by her son Charles V. Hill and wife Janet of Powell, and two daughters Rebecca Hill Baldus of Powell, and Kathryn Hill Taylor of Clinton; her five beloved grandchildren, Whitney Hill, Russell Hill and wife Abby, Katie Taylor, Abbey Harris and husband Tanner, and Rob Baldus. She was blessed to have many kind caregivers at Morning Pointe Assisted Living in recent years, but most especially blessed by the loving and gentle personal care of Winfrey Hayes.

The family will receive friends on Monday, September 30th at St. Marks United Methodist Church in Clinton from 5:30-6:30 followed immediately by a memorial service.
