Anna "Jean" Miller, age 92, of Knoxville, formerly of Clinton, passed away at her residence with her family by her side on Friday, April 11, 2025.
Jean was a strong Christian and a member of Clinton First Baptist Church. She found joy in reading and crafting, but her greatest love was her family. Her children were the recipients of her unconditional love, and she cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren. Jean's love for her family was unwavering. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, cherishing every moment spent with her loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Nussmeyer and Effie Oldfield Nussmeyer; her husband, Leon Miller; her brother, Ray Nussmeyer; and her sisters, Shirley Clemons and Pearl Coffee.
She is survived by her daughters, Joy Hollingsworth and husband Jim; Glenda Peters and husband Randall; son, Alan Miller; grandchildren, Brian Hollingsworth and wife Charlotte, Matt Hollingsworth and fiancé Annette, Jonathan Peters and fiancé Ashlyn, Ayla Miller, and four great grandsons; sisters, Carol Poston and Lois Gatlin; and close friend for decades, Jeanette Dunn.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 pm, Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at Holley Gamble Funeral Home. Her graveside service will immediately follow at Sunset Cemetery. Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements. holleygamble.com
