Mrs. Anna L. Gross, born November 2, 1928, went to be with the Lord September 23, 2010. She professed her faith in Christ at an early age, was a faithful Christian to the Baptist church and a long time member of First Baptist Church of Clinton. Anna married Homer Gross on May 14, 1948 at Black Oak Baptist Church of Clinton and they celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary May 14, 2010. Together, they founded and operated Clinton Floor and Cabinet Shop for over 50 years. Mrs. Gross was a retired secretary of the Department of Energy and TVA Executive Offices in downtown Knoxville. She was a loving mother, wife and sister and will be truly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William M. and Madge Webster Leinart; brother and sister in-law, Edsel and Dorothy Jo Leinart; brothers in-law, James Earl Prewitt, Jim Queener; Sisters in-law, Bonnie Hackworth and husband Charles, Rosalie Lovitt and husband Garrett; nephew, Randy Leinart.

The family would like to thank the special caregivers, Joyce Glymp, Christy Glymp, Jill Ridenour, Cindy Jenkins and Vicky Smith for their dedicated work and compassion they provided.

The family will receive friends Sunday, September 26, 2010 from 6-8:00p.m.at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral services will follow at 8 o'clock in the chapel with Rev. Sam Dean and Rev. Stan Elliott officiating. Graveside services will be Monday, September 27, 2010 at 11:00a.m. at Sunset Cemetery in Clinton. Pallbearers will be Darren Gross, Chad Gross, Kent Venable, Steven Leinart, Gary Hackworth, Marvin Prewitt and Larry Poole. Honorary Pallbearers are Richard Simpelaar, Daniel Simpelaar, Justin Brogan, Joey Monaco and Cassidy Ross.
