Amo "Nanny" Boyd, age 70, of Oliver Springs, passed away Saturday, June 7, 2014 at her residence. Amo was born November 8, 1943 in Clinton, TN to the late Curly and Minnie Turner. She was a member of Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church. Amo loved playing softball in her earlier years and spending time with her grandchildren and attending their ballgames and sporting events. In addition to her parents Amo is also preceded in death by; brothers, Clarence Epps and Lincoln Turner; sister, Barbara Ann Washington; brother-in-law, Tressie Rivers.
