Amelia Anne Erb became an angel August 29, 2015 following a lifelong struggle with neurological issues and cognitive developmental delays. Her final days were spent with family, friends, educators and therapists, who assisted her in being the sweetest, happiest, hard-working little girl.
Amelia's life seems too short for us; however, those who knew her well understand that the quality of her existence far exceeds the amount of time she spent with us. Her smile would light up any room, her giggles would fill any space with happiness, and although she was just trying to say a few words, her voice, thoughts and will was always known to us.
With Amelia's passing, we remind others that her life is to be celebrated and she will forever remain in our hearts. It has been a privilege to be her parents and we are so thankful that her big sister, Fiona, will cherish the memory of Amelia's gentle spirit.
Amelia is survived by her loving parents, David and Natalie Erb of Norris, Tennessee; sister Fiona Marie Erb; paternal grandparents Richard and Susan Erb of Summerville, South Carolina; maternal grandparents Donald and Kay Chase of Norris, Tennessee and Carol Chase of Lake Wylie, South Carolina.
Family, friends and anyone who was touched by Amelia in any way is invited to stop by the family residence Saturday afternoon, September 5, 2015 at 1:00 PM at 87 Dairy Pond Road in Norris. The family will be celebrating and remembering the many ways God worked through Amelia to enrich all of their lives.
There will be a memorial service Tuesday evening, September 8, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. at Saint Francis Episcopal Church in Norris with a reception following the service.
