Alvin L. Talley, age 84 of Clinton passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at Norris Health & Rehabilitation Center. He was a member of Clinton First Baptist Church, WWII Army Veteran and member of American Legion & Civitan Club. He was a retired insurance agent. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Carol Talley and parents, Elmer Talley and Virgie Harrington.

Children: .Anne Weaver of Clinton, Steve Talley of Katy, Texas
Grandchildren: Benjamin Cannon, Mollie Weaver, Amber Talley & Jeremy Talley
Brothers: Dennis, Sherill & Jerry Talley, all of Anderson Co.
Cousin: Beverly Crawford of Clinton

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 2, 2010 from 6-8PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 8:00PM in the chapel.
Family & friends will meet at 2:00PM on Sunday, October 3rd at Zion Cemetery in Claxton for graveside services. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of the arrangements
