Alma S. Wade, age 83 of Oak Ridge passed away January 12, 2011. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church where she was the organist for many years. She worked in Oak Ridge during the Manhatten Project, was an LPN and was very active in her community and life.

She was preceded in death by a son, Steven; her parents, Burt & May Rogers; adopted parents, Bruce & Agnes Summey; sisters, Hallie Mae Dowdy & Lois Keever.

Survived by her husband, Jim Wade; son, Tom & wife Barby Wade; daughters, Deborah & husband Carl Taylor, Mary & husband Keith Sanford; sons, Mark Wade, Dan & wife Mimi Wade, Sam & wife Natalie Wade.

15 Grandchildren and 24 Great-Grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 15, 2011 from 1-2PM at St. Mary's Catholic Church with funeral at 2:00PM with a reception following at the church. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of the arrangements. www.holleygamblefh.com.
