Allen E. Stooksbury, age 74 of Andersonville passed away Friday, December 21, 2012. Allen was a member of Norris First Baptist Church. He retired from ORNL. He was a loving husband & father. Allen was a founding member of NAGAF, was also involved in other youth and community events, was an avid gardener and loved being outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lon & Zena Mitchell Stooksbury; brothers, Lon L. Jr., R.C., Bobby, Bill & Earl Stooksbury; sisters, Hazel Lea Pitts & Blondel Wade.

Gerald Stooksbury & wife Sherry

Daughters: Pam Sain & husband Scott
Tabitha Hutson & husband Scott

Grandchildren: Chanda, Alex, Dylan, Creighton & Mallory

Brother: Dallas Stooksbury & wife Jessie

Sisters: Ruby Nelson, Bernice Schaffer & Frankie Johnson
Several nieces & nephews and host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 23, 2012 from 5-7pm at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 7:00pm with Rev. David Seiber & Rev. Marty Stooksbury officiating. Graveside services will be Monday, December 24th at 2:00pm at Andersonville Cemetery.
