Alene Russell, age 68 of Knoxville, passed away April 17, 2015. She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Clinton. She was a Medical Transcriptionist and worked for 16 years at Baptist Hospital in Knoxville. Alene enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and traveling with her friends.
Preceded in death by her parents, James and Cleo Russell; brother, Kenneth Lee Russell.

The family will receive friends Thursday, April 23rd from 10-11 a.m. at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Memorial service will begin at 11 o'clock with Chaplain Dan Hicks officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Garden. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O.
