Albert Doyle Massengill Jr. age 59 of Heiskell, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on July 9, 2026.

He is preceded in death by his father, Albert Massengill Sr.; mother, Mildred Rutherford Massengill; Mother-in-law, Joyce Brown Williams; father-in-law, Harold Williams.

Survived by his wife, Kimberly of 37 years; sons, Justin Massengill and Josh Massengill; honorary son, Troy Roberts; grandchildren, Jordyn, Jaxson, Jaelyn, Jaclyn, and Dean; several bonus grandchildren; brothers, J.D. (Peggy) Massengill of Toledo, Ohio, David (Penny) Massengill of Rocky Top, Joe Massengill of Caryville, Gary (Karen) Massengill of Clinton; sisters, Betty Scarborough of Caryville, Sue Massengill of Rocky Top, Ann (Robert) Martin of Clinton; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Receiving of Friends will be from 5-7 pm on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at Holley Gamble Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 7 pm with Pastor J.D. Massengill officiating. Family and friends will meet at Ridgeview Baptist Church in the Oak Grove Community for a Graveside Service beginning at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 16, 2026.

Pallbearers will be Joey Massengill, Tim Massengill, JJ Massengill, Travis Tackett, Troy Roberts, Xavier Riffey, Jacob Wilkerson, and Terry.
