Peacefully and surrounded by his family, Ace John Carroll, Jr., passed away on January 7, 2023, at the age of 68.

Ace grew up in Clinton, Tennessee, and proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy.  After his years of service, he followed in his father's footsteps, by working in the HVAC industry, a field where he later became a known expert and worked for over 50 years.   No matter if it was peers in his line of work or his customers, he never hesitated to help others if called upon.

Ace enjoyed life, his family, and many friends. He loved good food, a good fishing spot, and trying to grow a good garden.  He was adored and loved by all who knew him.  He had a heart of gold, and his kindness knew no bounds.

Ace is survived and missed beyond measure by his loving wife of 30 years, Carol.  He is forever cherished by his three sons, Colton Carroll (Haley Burnett), Brandon Carroll (Jenna), and Ace John Carroll III (Heather), and daughter, Misty Brown (David); grandchildren, Darby, Tom, Jake, Mollie, Maggie, Grayson, A.J., and Conner; as well as brothers, Dusty Carroll (Paula) and George Carroll (Debra) and their families.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Evelyn and Ace John Carroll, Sr.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 15, from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. A private service will follow, inurnment will be at a later date.
